Infant Childcare
Confident. Credentialed. Concerning.
Tuition: $5,200 or 24 easy payments of $236.
A twelve-week program in the care and supervision of human infants aged 0-12 months. Students graduate qualified to handle feedings, diaper changes, and 'tummy time,' though 'tummy time' may take on a different meaning.
Whiskerworks provides a certificate. We do not provide liability insurance. Parents should make their own arrangements.
What You'll Learn
- ›Prepare a bottle at the correct temperature (warm, not 'cat tongue' warm)
- ›Change a diaper without wearing the diaper
- ›Execute a successful burp, with pats, not claws
- ›Read 'Goodnight Moon' in a soothing meow
- ›Recognize hunger cries, tired cries, and 'the cat is in the crib' cries
- ›Not sit on the baby
Program Syllabus
It is loud. It is damp. It is yours.
Bottle prep, formula ratios, and the correct time to burp.
Tabs, rashes, wipes. You learn, or the baby does.
Theirs is important. So is yours. Good luck.
Baby on belly. Not your belly.
You will not call 911. You will meow until the human comes.
